Looking for the perfect escape? Look no farther, this cozy cottage comfortably sleeps 6 on over 3 acres, and has stunning views of Canyon Lake! Over 400 feet of shared waterfront! Spend your afternoons on the spacious covered porch and let your cares float away. Take an easy walk down to the water for a dip. You can also tie up a boat or tubes to the trees on the water's edge. This cottage is ideal for family gathering or any group looking to have a wonderful time on the picturesque shores. There is also a 3 bedroom, 3 bath house next to the cottage that may or may not be rented out during your stay. This house shares the water access. It can accommodate 10 guests. Rent the cottage by itself or rent both to sleep 16 people.
The downstairs has the living room with comfortable seating, 2 dining tables and a charming kitchen. There is a bathroom off the living room with a shower. Upstairs is a loft style space with 3 queen size beds. The owners have added a stand up arcade game (asteroids/centipede) in the living room. *Both window units are brand new, November 2021.*
This cottage is perfect for groups that are wanting to get away from the rowdy crowds as it is in a residential area. You can relax at the lake while still being close to great tubing excursions and other area attractions! This cottage can accommodate 6 guests. There are beds for 6 guests. However, you are welcome to bring an air mattress for 2 additional guests max. Host must be 25 years of age or older to make a reservation and must be staying at the property. No pets allowed. This cottage has a maximum occupancy of 8 guests. This maximum occupancy is not to be exceeded at any time. No daytime guests allowed. You can park 2-3 vehicles at this property. To comply with city and county short-term rental permit restrictions, the outdoor areas of this home are monitored by video camera. This property includes accidental damage protection up to $1500.
This cottage is a 10 minute drive to tube the Guadalupe River at Sattler and 15-20 away from Historic Gruene, the famous Gristmill restaurant and Schlitterbahn water park. If you're looking for a good tube outfitter, check out Shanty Tubes which is only about 7 miles from the house! Cranes Mill Marina is located only 8.6 miles from the house. WORD permit #L1364

It’s was very clean and a Great Experience. First time ever doing this and I will do it again. Great view of lake, friendly wild life. We seen so many deer. I can go on and on about how great this was for our family. I absolutely recommend. Our Family left happy. Thank you.

When our vacation was cancelled due to Covid (again), we decided we wanted to get away in a safe way. This house was exactly what we needed. Great location, peaceful, fun for kids (10 & 1yr), close to the river (no floating w/o your own raft at the time), and close to the marina where you can rent anything you could think of. There's plenty of stores around to get anything you might need as well. Some notes: WEAR WATER SHOES! The whole property is rocks & the amount of sticker burs are insane. There are hotel-size soaps, but bring your own, zip lock bags, trash bags, etc. It's about as basic as you can get, but overall you'll be outside all the time so it won't matter. If not, the TV is more complicated than anything I've ever experienced

We had a great stay! The entrance to the water was in the middle of the property which felt like trespassing on the other tenants renting. I would say the property sleeps 6 unless someone wants to sleep on the couches. Overall this property was very clean! The office staff was wonderful calling us to let us know we could arrive early! The water is of course beautiful!

We had a fun, relaxing and quite time. It was a nice setup up with easy access to the lake. The walk down is rocky as is the beach area. The only changes I would make to the cabin are, add a topper on the mattresses and replace the couch. The mattresses are very firm and the one couch I think it was broken. These issues would not prevent us from returning. The cabin had everything thing we needed with direct access to the water.
