Beautiful location, although the weather was colder than we expected, quite high up. Easy walk to town and a great base for exploring wine country. The fire was nice and rooms spacious.
I thought it would be a good idea to have a second small sofa in the living room area.

Ho soggiornato la sera di capodanno nell’appartamento più grande, con 2 camere e tre bagni … davvero enorme . Cucina ben fornita, colazione (confezionata) in gran quantità e tutto quello che serve per stare comodi . Il tutto con una vista favolosa sulla Val D’Orcia
Peccato non si possa accendere il camino (anche se presumo sia per sicurezza, ma l’avevo visto nelle foto e speravo di usarlo …) . La stanza/appartamento adiacente è diviso solo da una normale porta da interni che - seppur di qualità - potrebbe lasciar passare qualche rumore di troppo, noi comunque abbiamo avuto vicini molto silenziosi.
Tutto sommato ci tornerei volentieri

We stayed in the deluxe apartment with 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. Some croissants and tea and coffee and other mini toasts were left for us. Great service. This saved us from getting breakfast somewhere before we left. Wished we had stayed longer

The proximity to Montalcino was great, as was the availability of parking. The pergolas outside the bedrooms were nice in the evenings, and the apartment had three full bathrooms, two bedrooms, and a sleeper sofa. With an equipped kitchen, you could stay here, cook, and have a memorable time in the area (if you prefer to cook and not dine out).
Regrettably, the overhead light in the master bedroom would never go completely dark. So we had this strange blue glow that disrupted my sleep for the four nights we were there. Also, breakfast was not a component of the stay. There were prepackaged plastic-wrapped croissants and muffins for breakfast as the option. It seems a missed opportunity since there is a restaurant on premises.
