Catherine is a kind host with a beautiful house at a dream location, which suited our group of friends (with young kids) perfectly. We liked the surrounding nature very much, and the house facilitated our relaxed dinners and evenings perfectly. Thanks and highly recommended

This is a rare find: A very nice, beautifully maintained mansion in the midst of the idyllic hills of the Vosges. Together with my brothers, our families and some friends we enjoyed four days of companionship, walking, cycling, nice food and the occasional sauna and jaccuzzi tour. Very nice and responsive host.

Very beautiful property with superb surroundings. Super thankful to Catherine for allowing my family to come together from all over the world and enjoy our time in the Alsace/Lorraine region in France. Would do it again for sure. Future holiday makers should be aware in advance though that this is a very old house and requires certain amount of care and responsibility. Same goes for the recycling of rubbish as it is located in a small remote village where recycling is taken seriously. Hence, it’s probably more suited for groups of family and friends who can understand the care and responsibilities required. Unfortunately, we had some issues with drought in the area leading to shortage of water and a recent increase in hornets in the area that meant that it was challenging to leave the door open during the warm evenings. Otherwise, nice property and host.

We all had a good time, a very quiet, beautiful old house, no neighbours nearby, nice, spacey rooms, situated close to the forest. We spend most of our time outside.
