The hotel is nestled in a valley, which is fantastic and allows you to experience the local atmosphere. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the host is very nice. Google Maps only shows the main road, but you can walk along a side path and reach the hotel in about 6 minutes.

The room was clean, and it had a great amount of space. Our room was on the top floor. The stairs were very tricky with large suitcases. The staff was friendly, and they allowed our pets :) The river is just outside the gate, and there was plenty of green space for our dogs. The location was wonderful to be able to walk up to Rothenburg. Though the hike is steep, and you should bring a flashlight to light the path at night!
The shower drained slowly. There was no outside trash to dispose of animal waste (we clean up after our dogs). A few spots for small vehicles were available on-site, but they were full, and we had a van, so we had to park down the road on the side of the street. We were glad to have a place to park, though!

Absolutely charming apartment with convenient free parking. You can walk, but it was cold so we ended up driving the 3 minutes to old town and parking for €3 in the large parking lots. Quiet and peaceful.

Staff weren’t very friendly. Didn’t reply to messages when needed for assistance. No instructions were given to check out
