The main living space is on the second floor, where richly hued wood accents, lofty ceilings, and leather furnishings create the ambiance of a mountain lodge. In this airy and open great room, you can toast your toes in front of the wood-burning fireplace, pile on the sofas to watch Netflix favorites on TV, and play cards and board games at the coffee table or the dining table. The kitchen includes sleek stainless steel appliances, an island with bar seats for three sous chefs, and the perfect layout for the social cook. Property was overall great. Proximity to lift was wonderful. House was quiet with comfy beds. All appliances were in great condition. Negatives were the poorly flushing toilet on the basement, low water in the hot tub, cigarette butt stuck to hot tub under the cover, old beer can beside the hot tub, and the sound of the TV was terrible due to location and room acoustics. The host was also very slow to respond prior to the trip. All of these gripes are pretty minor and we all really enjoyed the house. Just pointing out details that struck me during the stay.

This spot couldn’t have been better for a long weekend to Tamarack Resort. The lift was right next to the home and it was so comfortable and well appointed. The hot tub was a perfect end to each day, and was very clean and well kept. The entire home had all the creature comforts you need - well stocked in the kitchen, lots of pillows, blankets, and towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, a sound bar for music and tv. Three bathrooms made the place perfect for three couples and there was plenty of space for lounging. I can’t wait to come back!

Location is great. Home was 55 degrees when we arrived so warming a house even to 62 took 7 hours before we could take our coats and sweat shirts off. Fireplace with no wood or starter. Two of the three beds were covered in black hair on the sheets and pillowcases so were not able to be used by us. Carpet under the dining table was soaking wet like it had been cleaned and not dried. This was a mid week working vacation and the wifi would not connect to the internet… no work and no TV/movies for the kids when the slopes stop running at 4. Overall did not meet the agreement for steep price we paid and concerns met with the response that they were busy. Not busy enough to be by the house at 10am on checkout to ask my children by the car how much longer we would be but not wait for me to walk outside or come inside to address our concerns in person. We are seeking a partial refund and will no longer rent from Vacasa.
