About this house rental
Our apartment is cozy, modern and newly renovated. It is located just 250 meters from the metro station of Viktoria which will get you in less than 10 minutes to the Acropolis, Syntagma square and Monastiraki. It is ideal for families, couples or friends that prefer a quiet and relaxing apartment with every amenity you might need for a pleasant stay. The flat can comfortably accommodate up to 5 people. Two kids may sleep on the twin bed in the second bedroom. The apartment has been renovated in May 2021. It is 105m² and it is located on the fourth floor. There are no stairs in the entrance, and it is accessible by an elevator as well. It consists of two bedrooms, a spacious living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom and a WC. The first bedroom has a double bed and the second a semi-double where two kids may be able to sleep. Both mattresses are brand new and will ensure a pleasant night’s sleep. Two more people can sleep on the sofa that can be converted to a comfortable double bed. You will find a washing machine in the bathroom. Our spacious balcony is overlooking Hayden street.

We were a little skeptical when we arrived at the entrance, as it was in an alley, but were very happy with the accommodation overall. Unit was as described, bed was comfortable, excellent water pressure, great wifi. Kitchen had everything we needed. Area was fairly quiet and seemed safe. Very close to the metro, which was convenient. Lots of shopping, coffee shops and restaurants in walking distance. Elevator was a bit confusing, as we expected the door to open automatically, so when it didn't we thought it wasn't working. Turned out you had to manually open the door, which we figured out the next day. Communication with the owner was excellent, and the arranged transportation to and from the airport was greatly appreciated and reasonably priced. We highly recommend this unit.

Very clean! Walkable to downtown Athens, the Acropolis, the National Garden, shopping and many attractions. Metro station is a 2 minute walk, lots of great restaurants and coffee shops right within a 10 minute walk!

This was a comfortable apartment with many nice features.
Each bedroom had an air conditioner unit which was a lifesaver since Athens was extremely hot.
The balcony is large and has a large table so it is very functional. We ate breakfast every morning and dinner several times on the balcony. We used the clothes washer and set up the drying rack on the balcony. Our clothes were dry in less than an hour (it was hot).
The apartment is two blocks away from the Victoria metro station so it is easy to get downtown, to the airport, or anywhere else. There are multiple grocery stores, bakeries and restaurants within a couple of blocks.
There is a lot of graffiti on the buildings and litter around the neighborhood, but that is true for most of Athens. I never felt like I was in any danger. Instead it felt like an authentic, local experience, rather than the sanitized version I would expect to have at an international hotel chain.
We enjoyed staying at his apartment and would stay here again next time we are in Athens.
