Quirky but comfortable little apartment in a great, lively neighborhood by the river. One of those old buildings with multiple courtyards, different entrances, winding stairs. Surprisingly quiet. The floors slanted a little bit in the living room and bedroom, which made me dizzy. The lock on the door to the street was broken and the courtyard door lock was sometimes difficult to open. The courtyard itself was dirty, lots of bird droppings, garbage. But once upstairs in the apartment everything was fine. The hosts left us some local treats, which was much appreciated. Everything was clean. We loved the neighborhood and its access to the river, to restaurants , and to the cathedral.

I enjoyed this stay a short walk from the city center, with multiple nice restaurants around. Despite being in a very lively street, the flat opens toward an interior courtyard, so there was no noise pollution, despite sleeping with open windows.

This place was a great value in a great location. I really enjoyed Strasbourg and the host provided everything we needed. The one comment I would make, and this is not a criticism, is that there are lots of narrow winding steps. This wouldn't be a problem for many people, but if you have problems with steps, this might not be the ideal place for you. Also, the key to the front door can be a little tricky. By the time I mastered it it was time to go home! But I would definitely stay in this place again. The hosts were great.

We stayed in this lovely apartment for 5 nights in May 2025. The location of the apartment is absolutely perfect for exploring the beautiful city of Strasbourg, feets away from beautiful buildings and resteraunts.
