L Interlude

The location of this apartment is fabulous!!! It is just around the corner from the cathedral. And the owner was able to provide us with off street parking in the courtyard. The unit is on 3 levels. The ground floor has kitchen, living room and dining room. The first floor has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, but just 1 toilet in its own room. The basement has a third bedroom and a second toilet but no bathroom. The washer is in the basement as well. We made it work. But for 4 senior citizens it was a lot of going up and down stairs which we hadn't quite planned on. The owner and her teenage daughter helped up get settled. And the owner returned when we departed to get the keys.

There were more stairs than we old folks had anticipated.

We received a very warm welcome. Some jam, milk butter and coffee/tea were expecting us for the breakfast the following morning. We felt it was very kind. The house was spacious, warm, well decorated and very clean. The beds and bedsheets were very comfortable. We really enjoyed all the books, games and vinyls. We had a really nice time and felt at home. The house is also very quiet and 5 min from the city centre and the cathedral.

The property was so clean, very roomy, beautifully decorated and perfectly located for a walk to Chartres Cathedral and the surrounding shops and restaurants.

One of the most beautiful apartment the I ever stay on my hollidays. Everything in the house is very good quality, beautiful decor, sparkling clean, comfortable beds and pillow. Carine is a splendid person. We loved all here.
