About this house rental
Make memories with your family in this charming Swiss Chalet themed lake community! Located on a quiet part of the lake, making it perfect for kayaking, swimming, or fishing! There is a community boat ramp available to guests. Boat rental is available at Baxter Marina, only 10 minutes away. The kitchen is well equipped for those home cooked meals, or you can cook out on the Weber Genesis gas grill. There are two spacious decks with a gas fire pit on the upper deck. This is a lake front property with a meandering path down to the water. Just 10 minutes to major grocery shopping, 25 minutes away from Silver Dollar City, 10 minutes from Dogwood Canyon, and 30 minutes from Branson! On rainy days, enjoy board games, Wii, sit down arcade games, or your favorite movies on our two smart Roku TV's.

Our family had a great stay at this home! Their central air was out but the owners adequately supplied window units that kept the home more than cool enough. The neighborhood and neighbors were very friendly. We went to the boat ramp quite a few nights to swim and watch the sunset and everyone was super friendly. House was large and the kids enjoyed the games. Something to note is that the area for unloading kayaks is a bit of a hike so you will need some strength to get them down/up but the fact they have an unloading area and kayaks themselves was so nice. They area this house is located in is quiet and makes for a peaceful trip on the lake. We even saw a fox and deer family right from the deck!Our only complaint is that there was no real swim area directly by the house but there could be, it was just too muddy. Not much the owners can do about that though, and we did find a place to swim at the boat ramp.We would love to come back to this place. Very cute and cozy! The owners were very responsive when we had questions!

Nice house, lake was beautiful and warm, short walk (steep walk though… could be tricky for elderly or handicapped). House was large enough to share with another family and having a full bathroom on each floor was convenient. The kitchen was beautiful but the oven is not user friendly nor was it big enough for a pizza pan or large casserole dish (we ruined dinner twice). Be sure to bring your own trash bags, extra towels, conditioner, dryer sheets. Parking is also very tricky, there is barely enough room to park two cars off of the street. The golf cart was a fun plus but the two person kayak we tried was missing drain plugs and filled up with water. The owner was responsive but we did have a problem with the auto door lock and the code when we were checking in.
