Settle in for a truly memorable vacation at this gorgeous and secluded, two-story home in Black Butte Ranch. The incredible, sunlit great room boasts walls and soaring ceilings of knotty pine, several windows, and plenty of comforts for the entire family to enjoy. Prepare your favorite recipes in the well-equipped, full kitchen, dine together (or play a few board games) at the table for six, and then take your pick of one of two living areas including one with a wood-burning fireplace, and another with a woodstove, wet bar, and TV for streaming your favorite shows and movies. Step outside onto the large, furnished deck where you can fire up the gas grill, dine alfresco, or just put your feet up and enjoy the fresh air and forest views. In the evenings, stargaze while you soak in the private hot tub.
Enjoy access to the many fantastic amenities of Black Butte Ranch, which include indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs, a steam room, workout facilities, hiking trails, bike paths, tennis courts, and a lodge-style clubhouse. The resort is also home to world-class golf, stables for guided horseback rides, and great fishing, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, and canoeing. Use the resort as a jumping-off point for a number of high desert day trips, including Bend, 32 miles southeast, which is home to the High Desert Museum, excellent breweries, and scenic Drake Park. For additional outdoor adventures, Smith Rock State Park is only 38 miles east for scenic hiking, rock climbing, and mountain biking.

Enjoyed our stay. Quiet area, super clean house was perfect for our 2 couples. Back deck and hot tub relaxing. Only down sides: Grill propane tank was empty upon arrival (replaced next day). Kitchen skillets are shedding surface and need to be replaced. Downstairs bath shower mat frayed and needs to be replaced too.

The house is nice, beds are comfy and the location is fairly central in BBR. You’ll want bikes unless you’re walking places if you want to avoid driving. The house has two pool towels, when really it should have 8-10. BBR doesn’t provide towel service and there’s a hot tub at the house so having them would be nice.

We enjoyed the hot tub when it finally got hot. The pool table and ping pong were used by our teens. Location was good. Beds were ok. Kitchen was equipped for our needs (we ate the majority of our meals there) though we were hoping to use the BBQ which didn’t work. We had a maintenance issue with the furnace fan which was extremely loud and disrupted our sleep until we turned it off at the breaker. Todd was able to fix it well enough to work the last night though it probably needs to be replaced. Overall a nice stay with plenty of space for 8 of us.
