Nice location, great roof top terrasse.

The location, the friendly and warm staff, the general atmosphere of the place, and the rooftop.
The mattress was not very comfortable.

The staff were exceptionally helpful.
The roof terrace was very pretty and great views.
Perhaps one could have made breakfast a little more presentable.
Hostel was very convenient for me to catch train.
I am Irish (and 83) and travelled to improve my French. I shared dorm with an Australian and a Spaniard - lovely people but English speaking!! There was also a French pensioner in our dorm and I spoke to her in French though she was a "busy" lady with things to do and places to go!! On the whole I enjoyed stay and would love to go again.
Traffic noise from train station.

It is right next to the train station and the center.
Overall, I did not like the city. I would not recommend the city. Go to Arles and Avignon instead. I will never visit Nimes again. It is one of the most uninteresting cities in the Provence area.
