About this house rental
The Cameo House is located on a quiet street lined by tall evergreen trees local to Oregon, giving the neighborhood a forested feel. The house is conveniently located off 30th Avenue, 2.5 miles from Hayward Field, 2.7 miles to University of Oregon, Matthew Knight Arena, and 4.8 miles from Autzen Stadium.
This is a two story house with 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, 2 living spaces, kitchen and an outdoor deck.
Ground Level:
The main door opens to a vaulted foyer with the original central white marble stairway.
To the left of the front door is a front sitting room for the whole group with comfortable arm chairs. It also serves as an office space with desk and chair, and a reading space.
The kitchen and living area is a single open space with a gas fireplace. The kitchen has new stainless steel appliances, white cabinets, an island with ba stools, and a gas stove.
The family living area is next to the kitchen, with couches and armchairs with gas fireplace and a mounted 50-in TV
We have a bar counter and a round pub table for a couple to enjoy a beverage or quiet conversation while looking out the window to the greenery.
There is a formal Dining Room the comfortable seats 8 guests for larger dinners, reunions or thanksgiving dinner.
The 2-car garage is newly converted into a game room, with a pool table, ping-pong table, foosball table, dart board and bar table and stools.
Lastly, there is a laundry room with washer and dryer with extra bonus shower, a half bathroom and closet space on the ground level.
Second Level:
The white marble stairway leads up to 4 bedrooms,
The Master Bedroom has a King size bed, 50-in TV, standing mirror and has large windows facing the tree-covered hillside. There is an ensuite master bathroom with twin sinks, walk in wardrobe and shower.
The other three bedrooms have a queen bed each. Two of the bedrooms have mounted TVs. These bedrooms share a common full bathroom with a shower tub, located along the second level hallway. There is a closet with extra bath towels and toiletries just outside the bathroom.
The outdoor deck overlooks beautiful secluded forested hill. There is a covered portion with dining table and gas grill, and a larger open area with outdoor seating and coffee table. It feels so peaceful to be sitting out here.
Parking is available for 2 cars in the driveway, and along the street. The garage is not accessible for parking.

The house is clean and comfortable. Our party consisted of two parents and twin 17-yr-olds. Everyone had their own bedroom space with two bathrooms upstairs, one 1/2 bath down stairs (plus a separate shower in the laundry which was a bit unusual (and we didn’t use)). Having a washer and dryer was nice. The amazing greenery out the back door was spectacular. The view made getting up in the morning a treat. Found a deer within 20 feet on day1. The lovely kitchen has spices and standard cooking supplies if your group plans on making any meals on site. One item that could use some attention is the lack of power to the electrical outlet in the down stairs 1/2 bathroom; I wanted to use a curling iron, but could not. We enjoyed the pool table and ping-pong in the garage. Darts had no tips, so skipped that activity. The welcome information was super well organized, and appreciated. The property managers were attentive and responded quickly to our questions about trash cans. Last, the location gives you all the benefits of being in the woods, yet is a short 4-5 min drive to breakfast cafes, etc. our family would stay here again.

Our family spent a nice holiday weekend in the Cameo house. It is well equipped and clean. Lots of space to spread out and have big family meals. We had a small problem during our stay but we got a quick response from the owner and a resolution. We enjoyed our stay!

Overall, this place is a wonderful place for your group to stay. The rooms are a bit small, so it’s difficult for everyone to be together at one time. The furniture by the fireplace is pretty uncomfortable and the owner should consider replacing it, but the kitchen is well-stocked and we made use of the garage-converted game room. The stairs feel like a lawsuit waiting to happen, but the rooms are nice and the beds comfy!
