This little medieval hamlet has been completely restored, maintaining its characteristic features, and transformed into comfortable holiday apartments in Tuscany.
Located among the gently rolling hills of Chianti at Casole d’Elsa (10 km), between Siena (30 km) and Monteriggioni (23 km), this holiday farmhouse consists of two cottages and a barn renovated into 8 comfortable self-catering apartments with particular attention in maintaining the traditional Tuscan characteristics such as the wooden beam ceilings, the terracotta tile flooring, the stone fireplaces and the built-in kitchens. Each flat has an independent entrance, private garden and furnished porch.
Surrounded by the luxuriant Tuscan countryside with its vineyards and ilex groves, the estate also offers its guests a large swimming pool (16x8, open May-Oct, from 1 to 1.50 mt depth) provided with deck chairs and beach umbrellas, shady pergolas where to relax under the blooms, a stone barbecue with four burners, a bowling green for bocce, a volleyball court, a shed full of mountain bikes, a laundrette and a nature friendly carport.
The position of this elegant and typical farmhouse is ideal for visiting art centres such as Siena, San Gimignano (30 km), and Volterra (35 km), while nature lovers can enjoy long walks through the woods and vineyards. Florence is only 60 km away.
Nearest supermarket 3 km, one Restaurant is ca. 800 Metre away, next ones at 3-5 km.
The 77 m² flat for 4+2 persons (sofa bed suitable for children up to 1.50 m tall) is located on the ground floor of an annex directly adjacent to the main building. Ground floor: living room with fireplace and sofa, dining area, kitchen, double room with walk-in wardrobe, bathroom with shower, twin room with walk-in wardrobe, bathroom with shower. From the living room you have access to the covered terrace equipped with table and chairs, from which you can enjoy a wonderful view of the pool and the surrounding countryside.

Once an ancient hamlet where farmers lived and worked the land for the local lords, the cottages have been renovated and tastefully furnished, respecting the original architecture. Each flat has its own covered terrace with exclusive garden furniture. Green spaces, stone, wood, terracotta floors, typical stone walls, flowering pergolas and warm colours are the elements skilfully interwoven to create a pleasant atmosphere.
Even the outdoor spaces have been designed to offer guests maximum comfort: a large swimming pool (16x8, open from May to October, 1 to 1.50 m deep), surrounded by a tiled solarium with terracotta floors, equipped with parasols and deckchairs; the bocce court, barbecue area and covered parking area have been skilfully adapted to the rustic setting. Communal washing machine available.
