Sunny Bank

Really beautiful character cottage. It has a well equipped kitchen, lovely cosy wood fire and flag stone floors. The host gave us a warm welcome and left some lovely touches such as milk, eggs and tea bags etc. The bed was super comfy and the shower was amazing! Immaculately clean all over and super white and clean linen and towels. The area is lovely - perfect for walking and cycling which we did. And such a quiet and peaceful village. There’s a local shop a few mins walk away which is pretty well stocked to be fair. All in all it was fabulous and I’d definitely stay there again. Many thanks.

Can’t think of anything I didn’t like!

Picture perfect cottage with original fireplace and oak beams , as well as a well tended garden looked after by a neighbour. Sally, the host, is so lovely and made us very welcome with enough for a cuppa to get us settled. The local shop was a couple of minutes walk and the Black Bill in at the bottom of the street. we also had a meal in The Station Hotel with family who live in Lancaster and everyone, including the 7 and 2 x12 year olds. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful little cottage set in a pleasant village. A very relaxed atmosphere. Everything available nearby. Wonderful fire place, spotless and well equipped kitchen. The most comfortable beds experienced.

Low beams. I knew they were there when we booked but cracked my head several times. In the end I looked forward to it.
