The laundry perhaps were cleaned but not dry properly thus there was a musty smell on the sheets and towels

The home was very well equipped for cooking, laundry and hanging out. Lots of excess towels, etc. Dishwasher cubes and laundry cubes are also provided. The location was excellent for walking everywhere. They have air condition upstairs and downstairs.
The carpet was badly stained. This was a major issue for all of us because the carpet is everywhere. The second shower is very small. It's great that the place has two bathrooms but note that one is downstairs and both bedrooms are upstairs. The bath upstairs is kind of a jack and jill bath, accessed by both bedrooms through the closet in one room. Note the air condition is an internal room air condition that vents to the outside for the upstairs. It keeps the rooms cool but it is very loud. They've got a nice outside deck but the freeway noise is quite loud from the deck (the noise was not evident in the house but maybe because the air con is so loud).
