About this house rental
Nestled in a private Douglas Lake Resort we are located within 3 mins from Douglas Lake. The cabin is a perfect mix of luxury, comfort and amenities. Hand picked rustic hickory furnishing within the cabin, a guest room, a game room , gazebo, play set & outdoor dining offers plenty of entertainment for everyone. Strategically located, this cabin offers an access point to wondrous smoky mountains, fishing & boating adventures in a unique town with abundance of family entertainment within 30 mins.
The space
We are perfectly located from all the tourist attractions within 30 mins and yet an oasis of peace and tranquility. We offer a great location for boating and fishing.
We are:
3 mins from Douglas Lake
20 mins from Sevierville city limits.
40 mins from Sugarlands Visitor Center
Withing 20-30 mins of all the city attractions and restaurants.
This unique property has everything you are looking for in a vacation cabin and a fishing expedition.
Entrance:
- Long driveway for 6 cars and a boat if needed.
- Fire Pit for 8 ppl

Main Level:
- Living room with 30 feet cathedral ceiling with a wall full of glass windows along with a grand chandelier. Open layout perfect for entertainment.
- Living room comes with a gas fire place, ample seating and 50" TV for entertainment.
- Dining area is split into two sections with one formal dining and informal breakfast can seat up to for 8-10 ppl together.
- Open kitchen which is equipped with all the appliance you would need for thanks giving or Christmas and we have gone beyond to offer more.
- Two master bedrooms each with King Bed, private bath and dresser/chest.
- Wrap around deck with BBQ grill, Hot tub, Outdoor seating that perfect romantic or family moment.
Second Level:
- Common Area with Video game, Board Games.
- Rustic hickory queen bed
- Rustic hickory twin over full bunk bed
- A half bath with towels and all the needed supplies.
Guest House:
- When we have 9+ guests we open up the guest house. Main cabin can sleep 9. If you want the Guest house for more space and you have less than 10 guests it is $50/night.
- This has a separate bedroom with queen bed
- Three additional twin beds with half bath makes the main cabin look small.
- Also has common area with sofa, dining and kitchenette.
- More board games if needed
Backyard:
- A walkway to Gazebo with outdoor dining table and seating for 8
- A fire pit equipped with open fire BBQ and comfortable chairs for 8 to cherish those s'more moments.
- A play set with slides and swings for the little ones.
Amenities:
- Hot tub for 6 with towels
- BBQ Grill with propane hookup and utensils.
- Fire pit and open fire grill for 8 ppl
- Gazebo for outdoor dining for 8 ppl

- Only small pets allowed. You have to let us know upfront.
- There will be a pet fee of $150/pet. This is primarily for damages, pet cleaning. Guests are responsible for any damage caused by pets especially to all the wood work and expensive furniture.
- One security camera on site facing the driveway for guest's safety.
- Do not use fire pit to light a fire. This is because of explicit instructions from resort management due to recent fires in the area.

Beautiful pet friendly place. It worked wonderful for our family vacation. The location is more remote than expected but we really enjoyed the privacy. The check in and out was super easy.

Very nice cabin! Absolutely love the seclusion! The driveway is in need of some help as it feels like you are 4 wheeling for just a bit. There were a few imperfections throughout the cabin, but nothing that hindered our day to day living. The guest house was a nice bonus! The hosts were very responsive with any questions we had. Memories were made and a fun time was had by all!

Overall the cabin was fine but It was smaller then pictures made it look. Some things were in need of repair and it was missing some general necessities like, paper towels, enough toilet paper, shampoo, soap and not enough bath towels. There was a fire pit advertised but in the house rules we were told we could not use it. There were also rules about being a smoke free house. I can understand in the inside but also not allowed outside and advised there were “smoke censors” around the house to let them know if we were. I was initially told we had all the towels we were allowed but after I spoke with the cleaning manager, Paula, we were given more. The bedroom to the left had a terribly uncomfortable bed as well. The house was nice and clean and very quiet. I attached a few photos of the disrepairs.

"We did enjoy our time. Loved the wrapped around porch. Would have liked to have a tv in each room but did great without. The bed was so comfortable. The drive way needs to be regraded very rough."
