Alkisti and Artemi Villas, two modern villas are set approximately 10 meters apart from each other and have an idyllic position, in the center of the village, almost 80 meters away from the sandy beach of Plakias in the South coast of Crete. Perfectly positioned in peaceful private ground of 1150 sqm.
These appealing neighboring villas have been constructed to highly standards and are located in a unspoiled, uncrowded and idyllic place on the south coast, some 35km of Rethymno. Artemi (150sqm) and Alkisti (130sqm) in size and can accommodate 6 people.
In a very short distance away, there are a variety of taverns, cafes, tourist shops, mini markets with many nearby beaches. Plakias can offer many extra activities like scuba diving, cycling, mountain trekking and wind surfing.

5/5 – Fantastic Stay at Artemi Villa!We had a truly fantastic stay at Artemi Villa. From the start, the hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming—always on hand if we needed anything, but never intrusive. They greeted us with fresh pastries and bread from a local bakery, and the fridge was generously stocked with beer, wine, raki, soft drinks, and fresh fruit. Such a thoughtful way to start our holiday!The villa itself was spacious, spotless, and very well-equipped. We appreciated having a washing machine, dishwasher, which made the stay even more convenient and comfortable. The private pool was beautifully maintained, and it was a joy to spend time relaxing there each day.The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach, with supermarkets and a great selection of restaurants nearby. Everything we needed was within easy reach, yet the villa still felt peaceful and private.One especially lovely touch: when we left, the host gave us a beautiful vase as a souvenir—a generous and personal gesture that we’ll always remember.We had an amazing time and would absolutely recommend Artemi Villa to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-catered holiday. We hope to return soon!

perfect quiet location with enough space and privacy, all conceivable amenities available in the house. Very friendly, helpful owner. Close to the center and restaurants of Plakias. For us worth 10 stars. Thanks for an unforgettable holiday Filippos

We were 9 family members in the two villas - Artemis and Akriti so we shared the excellent facilities in both villas. Well equipped kitchens and plenty of sun loungers. The host Filipos was very helpful and came round every day. We didn't arrive until after 9pm on a Sunday so we were pleased to see some essential starting provisions in the fridges. The location is central and the tavernas good.A thoroughly enjoyable holiday in excellent and spacious accommodation.David

We had a really great time in Villa Artemi. It’s a beautiful & spacious villa in a lovely relaxing place. Filippos was a friendly helpful presence & we all loved our stay. We’ll be back!
