The location was perfect for our business trip, a few mins from Ruthin and located on a quiet road with a good view. Large car park and easy access (if you are ok with stairs as it is above a pub up some metal stairs) The pub is only open at weekends and is used by locals. The owner said we could take our drinks back to the flat so we could enjoy them with our dinner.

You would find the place difficult if you were tall as the whole flat is in the roof of the building and has sloping ceilings and low beams, especially the second and third bedroom. There are two double beds and a single bed but the flat is very small and under supplied with facilities for that many people. We got one loo roll, one t-towel, and no cloths to wipe anything down with. Very few cups and glasses for a bigger group. The towels were clean but smelt of mildew when wet so not nice! A descent sharp knife would have been good and a chopping board. It was very hard to make dinner with no salad bowl or wooden spoons to cook with. Having said that it was cheap so I guess you get what you pay for!

met the host who showed us round the apartment we was struck by its position and the Wonderfull outlook and the fittings and the comfort of the beds having a pub under was was a great beer a real old fashioned pub with lovely ;locals

nothing comes to mind at all it makes a change to write a review with no complaints at all it was a shame the pub didn't do food but the beer was very good as was the friendliness of the locals

The surrounding countryside is magnificent. Wonderful views everywhere.

Only 1 toilet roll supplied. No toiletries. Heating erratic.

Host's response to resolve issue. Car Parking & location

Tired living room furniture. Property was described as 3 Bedrooms but in reality they were not separated with corridor rather were inter connected. Poor sound insulation with next door. Oven shelves were greasy.
