Location.
Quiet,
Fresh air.
Interior space.
Thoughtful design throughout.
Bedroom, bathroom downstairs, living room and kitchen upstairs.
A good shower.
Easy and spacious off road parking.
Wood burner that worked well.
Inexpensive firewood available from owner.
Two big black cats in the farmyard.
Access to a washer/dryer would have been useful.

The location, peace and quiet, great place for walks and good location for visiting the Cotswolds.

The property is in a great private location and it is clear a lot has been spent on converting the barn in to the cottage it is now.
The main issue with the property we experienced was a bad odour on the ground floor. Can’t really say what it was, it smelled of some type of wood treatment rather than drains, but it wasn’t pleasant to sleep in. Regarding value for money, compared to other places I have stayed it is on the high side for the size of the property and the finishing touches aren’t anything special.
