About this house rental
In the Grengiols region of Valais in Switzerland, the host welcomes you to his private paradise. This holiday home is suitable for a small family or for couples that want to holiday together. Old and new come together here and make your stay a pleasant one. In recent years, the houses have been completely renovated with great attention to detail and restored in accordance with the building regulations.
Situated in a hamlet in the valley of the Binntal, there is a gemstone mine nearby. Some of the places to visit are Aletschgletscher, Fiesch and Brig.
The house can only be reached on foot via a hiking trail and is not suitable for people who cannot move easily or who have breathing problems. The living and sleeping areas can be heated electrically, via a thermostat, or via the built-in Swedish stove with wood that is available. The shower and toilet have thermostatically controlled underfloor heating.
The Bern Airport and Geneva Airport are nearest.
Expenses related to charging an electric or hybrid car (when possible) are always charged according to use and separately

Wie gaat voor “Hét Zwitserland” gevoel, voor een Zwitserse Alpen beleving, houdt van rustige omgeving en een sfeervolle ambiance, kiest voor Saflischgarten ll te Heiligkreuz. De eigenaar heeft de betovering van de originele oogsthutten uit 1840 perfect benut, in de originele staat aan de buitenkant en de binnenkant is even sfeervol en uitgerust met alle comfort! Ik heb me vergaapt aan de originele architectuur, de bouwkunst van hout. Onze dochter met name was helemaal weg van de badkamer, compleet met regendouche en compact met bidet toilet combo. We sliepen er met drieën, met 4 had ook prima gepast. De 2 persoons slaapbank sliep heerlijk, naast het 2 persoons bed. Zeg nou zelf, slapen doe je vanzelf als je moe bent na een inspannende wandelroute, maar er gaat niets boven een heerlijk bed, met frisse lakens. En dat zijn allemaal ingrediënten tijdens onze belevenissen in Saflischgarten. Het huisje was keurig en sfeervol verzorgd, met mooie ontbijtplekken zowel binnen als buiten. Twee vensters zijn uitgerust met muggen horren, waardoor je altijd je vensters kon laten openstaan. De Saflischgarten ll op de Saflischmatten is compleet en sfeervol, compact en knus. Het uitzicht is nog ongerept, door de toerist. We werden bij aankomst (tomtom, ”u heeft uw bestemming bereikt”) door de eigenaar per telefoon geloodst over de onverharde weg tot dicht bij het huisje. Gunstig gestemd met de woorden “ik kom jullie helpen met de bagage!” waren we blij verrast, met een praktische soort van kleine Ski buggy achtige, van rupsbanden voorzien, luxe gemotoriseerde kruiwagen, waarop al onze bagage paste. Maar die tevens ook op het voetpad tegen de berg zigzaggend omhoogklom. Welkom, aangenaam! We beleefden een warm welkom in een karakteristiek en mooi gesitueerde berghut, met op de achtergrond het ruisen van de bergbeek, de krekels en af en toe de bergschapen geluiden. We troffen in de late nazomer prachtig weer, overdag warm en avonds lekker koel. Met een kachel waarin je het vuur door een haard-venster kan zien, met de hout voorraad bij de voordeur. Het was niet nodig om de kachel aan te steken, maar wel heel gezellig. We hadden niet weg gehoeven met de auto, rondom de hut en in het Binntal is genoeg te beleven, en wandelroutes te ontdekken. We gaan beslist nog eens terug om de omgeving beter te ontdekken d.m.v. de wandelroutes. Toch als je er eenmaal bent, is de Rhône Gletsjer grotte, Matterhorn, Eggishorn vanuit Fiesch, naar Italië via de Simplonpass een aanrader. (dagvullend dus vroeg vertrekken).

Wij werden zeer vriendelijk, door de verhuurder verwelkomt. Het vakantiehuisje, zag er keurig uit. Buiten de woning, waren er twee tuintafels met parasols, zelfs waren er twee stressbedden aanwezig. Het huisje is gebouwd op de helling van een berg. De omgeving bied velen wandelroutes, een aanrader is vanaf Fiesch met de kabelbaan, naar Eggishorn, te nemen en naar de gletsjer te gaan kijken. Wij hebben van deze vakantie genoten.
