It was very close to the train station, but high enough that you didn't notice it or trains. The view of the mountains from the large windows and balcony was fantastic. The apartment was spacious, clean, well-appointed and maintained.
The road to the apartment was a little steep. Definitely got our hearts pumping. The grocery store in Murren was a little far to easily carry groceries, but the one by the bottom of the gondola in Lauterbrunnen was convenient for return trips from the valley.
