Edelweiss Casa Vallada

Super Lage, wirklich direkt am Ende der Piste neben der Talstation in Flims. Sehr guter und schneller Service mit schnellen Antwortzeiten schon vor der Anreise. Sehr schöne Wohnung. Das einzige was (zumindest uns) verwirrt hat: die Abholung des Schlüssels erfolgt an einer anderen Hotelanlage ca 500 m weiter, was nicht ganz so klar im Vorfeld kommuniziert wurde und uns erstmal verwirrt hat

The location is excellent ( 2 minutes walk to the lift) …this is not ski out. It might be ski in but at during our stay the last slope that was without snow…so probably depends on the season. We were the company of 6 families. And I had a chance to see other apartments in the same complex (3 buildings standing right next to each other). No significant differences between them. So eventually the price is what matters…ours was the most expensive. All the rest, including the communication with the owner was ok.

I thought (but this is probably my mistake) that this apartment has two toilets with showers (maybe because it was more expensive than other apartments in the complex). But it has , like all other apartments I saw one toilet and one toilet with shower. Another small thing that really bothers…both toilets were without locks.

Super appartement for 4. Nicely decorated. Nothing we missed. Location is top. Parking below the building, skidepot below appartement and directly accessible from the slope. Gondel in front of the building. And Coop in the mall next door.

Cool architectural setting perfectly situated to take advantage of all the great things the region around Flims has to offer. Above all, the perfectly maintained and immaculate appartement makes for an ideal base camp for the sublime and wonderful Trutg dil Flem trail (Swiss trail no. 764), the highlight of our 1 week stay. Hiking alongside the cascading waters of the Flem and crossing the river on the multiple inventive bridges of Swiss engineer Jürg Conzett is a must-do activity. As is taking a bike trail to the Caumasee and visiting the Das Gelbe Haus Museum, both quickly reached from Casa Vallada. The friendly Edelweiss staff provide a very well thought out binder to gulp guests best organize their stay.

At the end of our 1 week stay, the otherwise great shower began to have problems draining.
