Located in the Pfuhl district, this charming first-floor apartment in a 1960s slate-roofed house offers a peaceful retreat with a lovingly maintained 500 m² garden. Guests can relax on the sunbathing lawn, enjoy evening light shows by the pond, and dine alfresco on the terrace with barbecue facilities. The interior is cozy and welcoming, ideal for unwinding after a day outdoors.
Nature lovers will appreciate the nearby Bacher Lay nature reserve and well-marked hiking trails. Nice, neat house. As stated, there is no real living room, but we used the bigger bedroom like one. Children loved the big bedroom with TV, and we loved sleeping in because of said TV. Lots of information about the surroundings. To access the garden you have to go outside, a few steps from a busy road, so not something the children could do independently, that's a pity. We used the owners washing machines a few times, that went very smoothly. Overall a well equipped home, not very big, but big enough for us (2 adults, 3 children). Huge supermarkets very close by; 2 minutes by car (not a very walkable stretch, sidewalks are missing...).
Just one km from the appartment is a nice little stream to play in with rocks etc. Bad Marienberg (5 car-minutes) has nice tourist attractions; the Wildpark, Basaltpark, indoor swimming pool. We enjoyed kayakking in Gräveneck, looking in an old mine, visiting the crystall caves, visiting a small canyon ("Schlucht") and playing in streams.

Ruim, schoon appartement met ruime slaapkamers. Eigenaren zijn zeer vriendelijk en stonden altijd klaar voor het beantwoorden van vragen. Omgeving leuk voor de hond met weides en bos. Was een geslaagde vakantie.
