I use this no nonsense hotel a lot . Good access to all routes. Free wifi is great for business travellers . Not the 30 minutes free then you pay . Not 5* but clean,warm and big rooms.

The hotel is a bit out off town 16 pound in taxi from bus station the rooms all need a major spruce up in all areas especially the carpets tv in my room not working ended up having to change rooms the staff were as helpful as they could but the ibis name prior to who ever owns it now has falsely lured people ti this very down ridden antiquated premisis sorry but you asked for a true view and I am being lenient with my review I had 3 rooms for me and.my and all were very much dated

No restaurant on site but you have subway beside it and marks and Spencer beside hotel. Chinese 4 minutes away, clean room, good value for money

Hotel is very cheap and this is reflected in the room. A lot of the bed linen whilst clean is almost threadbare. Bathroom had a lot of mould in places. Good space in the room and the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful.
In all honesty I would have trouble recommending this place for anything other than a one night journey stopover if nothing else was available
