About this chalet rental
The chalet GREAT BEAR is situated in a beautiful and very sunny setting, 10 minutes from the road. The wide open panorama offers exceptional views over the valley and all the mountains.
It is a typical family chalet, with charm and character, which we offer to people who wish to discover the most beautiful valley in the Alps. We ourselves go there regularly on holiday!
The chalet has everything you need for a great stay! Try our raclette oven!
The chalet is located slightly above the village centre, in the fields. The neighbourhood is ideal for people who like to have space and no direct access to a road (perfect for people with children!).
Important notes:
ACCESS TO THE CHALET IS ON FOOT, ~12MIN from the private covered car park in the centre of the village (parking included in the rental - IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO APPROACH THE CHALET BY CAR). We therefore recommend that you take adequate bags to transport your belongings to the chalet.

Great Bear is a lovely chalet with breathtaking views in a unique environment. I cannot think of a better summer escape, given the stunning surroundings of the Val Hérens, the local cuisine, produce, meat products, and delicious wines. The chalet fits the rustic character of the tiny village perfectly, while affording the necessary comforts for an Alpine stay. Absolutely LOVED IT!!!

An amazing view worth the traveling for sure
Only one small detail very steep hill to get to the property and you can't take the car to the property (no heavy bags🙄)

Gemütliches, einfaches Haus, schöne ruhige Lage.
Der Zugang ist etwas schwierig (bei Nässe oder Schnee ist es recht mühsam, kein Weg sondern quer durch eine schräge Wiese). Ansonsten aber tolle ruhige Lage mit schöner Aussicht.
