The stay was lovely, our group had a fantastic stay. The location is extremely convenient to both Portree and many sights. The cottage was quiet and relaxing. The host was easy to communicate with and very helpful!

Absolutely everything! What a magical gem of a property. Literally in the loch, open fireplace, music playing as we arrived, lovely supplies of milk, bread, eggs, cheese and Parma ham. This is one of the most beautiful properties I have stayed at and we literally did not want to leave. The beds were a dream and the view……. just wow!!!

Everything was fabulous. Host provided clear instructions, left us with a good amount food/snacks to eliminate need to get to Co-op right away and even provided some peat bricks for the fireplace. Location and views were fantastic. My wife has said several times that the Lodge really makes you feel like you're in Scotland.
A wee bit further off the road but that's it.

The location and number of bedrooms, beds, and bathrooms were great! We really appreciated the food, snacks, and peat that was left for us at the fireplace. It added a touch of personalization that showed the host cared. The downstairs bathtub was amazing and was very roomy. Quick to fill and drain. The views were spectacular from every room!
There were some issues with the upstairs bathroom shower leaking, but the host was very quick at fixing the problem within the same day. The only complaint was that the upstairs bathroom got very hot because of the towel heater on the wall, which we were not able to turn off. It was almost like a sauna at times, and we couldn't leave the skylight window open in there because there was no screen and the bugs would come in.
Recommendations: I would suggest adding a small ladder to the dock out back so it could be easier to get in and out of the water (for when we did cold plunges) since the water was too shallow to jump into from the dock and was slippery to get into from the shore. Maybe add a screen to the upstairs bathroom skylight so the bathroom doesn't get too hot and foggy while in use, and to keep bugs out.
