High in the hills this is a true hidden gem. An oasis of peace and beauty just 15 minutes from the coastal town of Maiori. If you’re looking to escape the crowds and experience a more authentic, tranquil side of the Amalfi Coast, this is the perfect place.
The property itself is set amidst on scenic greenery with great views of the surrounding mountains and distant sea. The grounds are immaculately maintained, and every corner feels thoughtfully designed. There is a small pool, multiple terraces ideal for morning coffee or evening wine, a BBQ area, an outdoor kitchen, and even a small workout space with basic equipment. Everything feels perfectly arranged to make the most of the stunning scenery.
Getting around from Tramonti does require some planning, as the area is more rural. We needed to rent a scooter, which Maria the wonderful host helped us organize seamlessly. This turned out to be absolutely essential for exploring, as the local bus service runs only once an hour and stops early in the evening. With the scooter, we had complete freedom to explore the entire Amalfi Coast at our own pace, from the famous towns of Amalfi and Positano to lesser-known gems tucked along the coastline that we would have otherwise missed.
Staying near Maiori offered a refreshing change from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist hubs. The atmosphere was more relaxed and local, we could enjoy authentic dining as Maria offered various recommendations for each town. The small town of Maoiri was friendly small-town hospitality, and peaceful evenings without the chaos and crowds. It truly felt like living the Amalfi Coast dream, but in a much more authentic and serene way.
Overall, our stay here was unforgettable. From Maria’s warmth and attentiveness to the breathtaking views and peaceful surroundings, everything exceeded our expectations. We left feeling relaxed, rejuvenated. We would return in a heartbeat!

Host Maria was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond! Location is beautiful and room has everything you need. It is a short drive to Maiori where you can access the Amalfi coastline.
