About this apartment rental

This beautiful apartment is a part of the Nautical Centre Scheveningen located at the second inner harbour of Europe's largest and fashionable bathing resort. It is only 15 minutes away from the vibrant city centre of The Hague with impressive hotspots like Madurodam and the Louwman Car Museum. This place is ideal for a family vacation.

Within walking distance, you find South beach, some of the best restaurants, a supermarket and the 'world famous' local fish shop Simonis, known for the best fresh fish in town. Holland's most famous seaside resort Scheveningen has an abundance of attractions and beach pavilions.

The home is facing a seaside view on the brand new venue of the Dutch Olympic Sailing Association. It includes secured private parking from where you can take an elevator to the apartment entrance. It offers essentials such as high-speed internet, a SMART TV, a fully equipped kitchen, and laundry facilities.

We really enjoyed our stay in the apartment and are glad to recommend it and the management of BizStay to any potential traveller. The apartment ist well suited to become a laid back home away from home and to start exploring The Hague from there. It is also possible - if need be - to work online in the apartment, since the chairs and table in the dining area allows for good seating and plenty of workspace. Its location is perfect to explore the surrounding beach and harbour area on foot and the city with public transport. The terminal bus stop Norvolk of Line 28 is just a few steps away from the apartment and it is a real pleasure to be able to leave the car safely parked in the garage, which pertains to the apartment, and to explore the city without any parking hazzle or its exorbitant costs. The view from the apartment on the 3rd floor over the harbour is beautiful and the graceful sail boat traffic gliding to and fro the marina is very pleasurable. The apartment house is very clean and well kept; the adjacent elevator which leaves from the garage to the upper floors is very convenient. The location overlooking the harbour is very picturesque und at night there is no noise to disturb a good night sleep. Grocery shopping is possible at a Jumbo Market which is very well equipped. Its just a short drive to the other side of the marina, with free parking for 1 hour while shopping there. On the minus side: dont waste your time to go to the Haagse Markt. We traveled there with Line 11 and found an open air market which has nothing to do with the touristic description of it. It sells mostly the cheapest merchandise; nothing original, mostly inexpensive junk. A lone cheese vendor and some of the grocery stalls may be interesting; however, we bought nothing and left quite disappointed. The city center is small and easily walkable. The best experience was The English Bookstore in DePassage. Many historical sites are closed due to renovation. Nevertheless, The Hague is always worth a trip. And the apartment in the harbor perfectly suited. For best fresh fish go a short distance to Simonis in the unassuming habour docks near the 1st harbour basin. That's where the locals go to eat the best fish in town.

We had a lovely time here! The apartment was right by the Olympic Sailing venue, which was great for morning walks, It was also nice to have a fully equipped kitchen for family dinners
