Modern apartment, clean, full kitchen utensils, working appliances, convenient parking, elevator. Within 15-30 minutes drive of several good ski areas (Val Cenis, La Norma, Aussois, Valfrejus, Orelle).
Was supposed to have free WiFi but there was no signal in unit 7 and the staff could do nothing about it. After 2 days I was moved to unit 1 which had a signal. Apartments are comfortable but undecorated with hard floors so rather cold in feel. The village has only one restaurant and that is only open for dinner, and no food store - you have to drive down to Modane for all food needs.

The location is spectacular, in plain sun (as per the name), with beautiful terraces that give onto the mountain and fields and walks near by. My dog enjoyed it a lot (to note, dogs are charged extra at 8euro per night)
10 min from the highway, 30 min from the stunning mont cenis lake and 1 hour from the border with italy. A good stop.
When we arrived and checked in we realised our room hadn't been clean. They finally and apologetically changed our room, but in the new one three of the five heaters didn't work, the toilet bowl was broken (and taped up?) and there wasn't a hairdryer, which was annoying, and I couldn't ask reception as there wasn't anyone there anymore.
Also they have a strange policy of 'clean after yourself' which means that you have to trust that the previous guest had cleaned properly.
