About this house rental
Villa Elena is situated in the heart of Tuscany at southeast of Florence (reachable in a half a hour driving and 25 minutes by train) among the most beautiful areas like Chianti Classico, Val d’Ambra, Casentino National Park, Chianti Rufina and Valdarno. Siena and Arezzo too are within easy reach either by the scenic country route or the Autostrada del Sole. The villa has been extremely well renovated and provides the most fabulous, spacious site for a perfect holiday. It is an expansive house providing high standard of accommodation. Tasteful furnishing blend beautifully with the Tuscan arches and typical ceiling with exposed beams. Outside a wonderful garden with a 10 X 5 swimming pool and a patio for “dining al fresco” during the summer. Villa Elena is ideal for an extended family or group of friends who want to enjoy each other’s company in perfect privacy. Extra costs are payable at location: Final cleaning 300,00 euro - For stays of more than one week there is an additional cost of 200.00 euros for changing linen and weekly cleaning -Visitor’s tax 1,5 euro per day (Max 6 days) per person from 12 years and up - Heating cost 1,20 euro per lityer - Electricity free up to 250 kwh. Pool available from April 18th to October 31st.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this property. Comfortable and convenient, with plenty of spaces to relax as a group or individually. The kitchen was terrific as well. Our host, Elena, could not have been more lovely. She greeted us with a warm welcome and checked in periodically during the trip to make sure we needed nothing. We plan to stay again on our next Chianti adventure!

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Elena. The first week there were couples and adult children and the second week friends and family. The villa is located conveniently for getting into Florence, Arezzo and Siena plus local villages and wineries.
The photos don't really do it justice. The rooms were larger than expected and the pool area is beautifully secluded.
All in all I would highly recommend for a family holiday/event for a large group.

I booked this house as I wanted to celebrate my 50:th birthday with my best friends. And what a week we had. We all loved the house, it was huge and with beautiful surrondings. Great pool area with the nice gazebo. The outdoors patio on the back was lovely and we had our dinners there every night. Close enough to shops and restaurants and other things to see around the area as the Chianti route and also close to Florence. But of course you need a car. Lovely place that I would recommend

Nous avons séjourné en hiver donc il est difficile de se prononcer sur les extérieurs, la piscine... Par contre l'intérieur de la maison est agréable (grandes chambres) mais plusieurs points pourraient être améliorés : le salon est petit si vous êtes 10 personnes, il manque de fauteuils. La cuisine est géniale mais elle aussi manque un peu d'équipements si vous aimez vraiment faire la cuisine, si vous vous contentez de choses simples elle suffira largement mais nous aurions aimé avoir un robot, un cuiseur à riz, une meilleure machine à café... et un détail... mais les chaises de la salle à manger sont beaucoup trop basses par rapport à la hauteur de la table ;) . Attention sur les photos ce n'est pas un jacuzzi, mais une mini piscine froide ! Pour le reste la maison est assez isolée (et donc calme) mais ne comptez pas aller acheter le pain à pied ! Vous êtes à 10 minutes du village des marques (pour les fans de shopping), à 30mn de Florence et 1H de Sienne; la région est magnifique mais les environs immédiats de la maison sont quelconques. L'accueil est très sympathique mais rapide toutefois la propriétaire est toujours disponible par messagerie ou téléphone..
