About this house rental
Higher Lane House is a newly renovated townhouse with five en-suite bedrooms and a private courtyard, perfect for those warm summer evenings to unwind with a glass of wine or relax with a book.
The Kitchen/Living space comes fully equipped with a dishwasher, large fridge freezer, washer/dryer and 60-inch Smart TV.
The bedrooms are laid out over three floors, each including an en-suite shower room and TV.
The ground floor consists of a double bedroom, on the second floor you'll find another two double rooms and on the third floor, a super queen bedroom and a single room.
The Barbican is just a 5-minute walk from the property and is the heart of the city's heritage with some of the oldest buildings and a great number of historical stories. It is a vibrant place of cobbled streets with over 200 listed buildings, many of them Tudor and Jacobean. The Barbican offers a wide range of boutique shops, art galleries, traditional pubs, cosmopolitan bars, cafes and restaurants set amidst picturesque scenery.
The Hoe has breathtaking views across Plymouth Sound, and no trip to Plymouth is complete without a visit. It's the perfect place to spend a sunny day looking out over the panoramic views, enjoying a picnic on the grass underneath Smeaton's Tower or taking a dip in the Tinside Lido.
Drake Circus shopping mall and the Theatre Royal are both within a 5-minute walk of the property.

Stayed here for 3 nights, with a family of 8. We could not fault the property at all, we all enjoyed staying here.All of the rooms were spacious and had everything we needed, and was a bonus each room had its own en suite! Kitchen has everything you need, enough space for everyone. Parking available at the back, although a bit tight getting cars in and out, we knew our cars were safe. Great location, only a short walk to local shops etc

The house was very comfortable, as all of the 5 bedrooms had their own shower rooms/toilets. It served as a good base for our holiday, as it was in the centre of town and close to all of the restaurants and shops.

This was the perfect stay in what was like our own private hotel with 5 on suite bathrooms, the kitchen/dining/living area was a bit on the small size for 9 guests but in great location with easy access to the Barbican and Hoe.
Getting into carpark was a bit tight, but cars were safe.
We would stay here again but would recommend additional storage/ drawers in the bedrooms.
