Property was set in a lovely location. Swimming pool, games room available
The first room we were placed in was nice but tired. The jacuzzi was closed on day 2, there is some refurbishment being carried out. Due to staff shortage not enough staff at breakfast, a wait to be seated with no glasses or juice available.

I arrived in the middle of a storm and the front door area was cordoned off, a quick call to the hotel and within a very short time a young man came out to take me into the hotel. Booking in was very easy with a full explanation of all the facilities, the room was a good size very comfortable very clean and warm. Breakfast was really good, great choices and very well cooked and presented.
This was my 3rd stay and on each occasion the staff have been exceptional in the way they have looked after us

We were not blown away with this property. It feels like it needs major renovation and serious investment in upgrades. We did enjoy the fact it had a pool and sauna, but the change rooms felt very dated and in need of modernisation (for example, many of the lockers had electronic locks that simply didn’t work, and while the women’s change room has a laundry spinner, the men’s does not).
The hotel had no door attendant and no automatic door at the entrance and then a large flight of steps to negotiate; so I struggled with our luggage while my wife carried our toddler.
The hotel in general felt very dated and in need of renovation. The en-suite bathroom felt rather dilapidated. The floorboards creaked loudly and felt spongy/uneven below the carpet.
