Located in a rural area, this welcoming vacation home lets you experience it all in Castellina in Chianti. There's convenient onsite parking, so you can leave your vehicle behind and let your feet make short work of the 9-minute walk to City Hall Castellina In Chianti or the 9-minute walk to Castellina Fortress.
After you return, you can unwind by the private pool or sip a drink in the garden; you may also like the deck or patio and firepit. As for the great indoors, you can try your hand at table tennis, or enjoy the free WiFi, cable/satellite TV, and stereo.
As you settle into this 3-bedroom, 1-bathroom rental, you'll find a living room, a BBQ grill, a fireplace, and a safe. Bathroom amenities include a hair dryer, a bidet, and towels. Prepare a home-cooked meal in the kitchen, complete with an oven, a stovetop, and a refrigerator, as well as a coffee maker, an electric kettle, and a lobster pot. Perfect Tuscan getaway. Great villa on amazing grounds with fantastic views. 5 minute walk to the center of Castellina. Villa is great for a couple or a couple with 2 small children. Very well maintained, clean, and well equipped. Villa is simple and comfortable. It is set in an olive grove of a much larger farm. Grounds are beautifully maintained and the view of the valleys and mountains are great. We spent every morning out by the pool watching the sunrise. Not fancy but exactly what we were looking for to relax after visiting all the big cities of Italy. Biagi and Frederico were great hosts and gave recommendations on local things to do. Castellina is very centrally located to explore more of Tuscany. There is a fairly steep hill to climb to get to the town. So if you have difficulty walking, this may be a concern. Loved our stay! Very private and relaxing.

Brilliant location, very easy access to village. Fantastic pool and garden for relaxation both of a very high standard. Check in was easy, kitchen and interior facilities were adequate.

We had a very good time here, perfect location and just a 5 minute walk into Castellina with its lovely restaurant's, wine tasting and shops . The outdoor of the property is perfect,lovely swimming pool and glorious views all around. Always kept clean by Federicos father . Inside the decor could do with an update, especially the bathroom. However, the cooking facilities were excellent and it was lovely to eat on the terrace by the pool. Just make sure you have insect repellent. The property isn’t easy to find as it’s through a car park but Federico met us and we followed him there. Overall an excellent property but be aware there is a final cleaning charge of 25 euros per person and a possible excess usage electricity charge. You also have to pay for the air con so all the additional fees do add up!Lovely location for getting around Tuscany and Siena is only half an hour away.

Idyllic location. Wondering potential in this property. Would be amazing if had updated interior furnishing to match the outside of the property.
Unfortunately, the property is not as listed. The heating is not able to heat the apartment, and we stayed the first week in October. Even with pre-empting the heating earlier in the day, it was cold, damp and uncomfortable. The only comfortable place to be inside was under the covers in bed.
Additionally, it does not have a fireplace, nor 3 bedrooms, and the annex of two single beds on two levels is attached to the master and not the common area. Also, not listed is the surprise request for cleaning fees and advised on check in that we would be paying for electricity as well over and above what we previously paid. This is not listed in the VRBO listing in any way. Given that it was so cold, and running the basic reverse AC unit, it would end up costing a lot of money extra and we would still be uncomfortable.
On day 3 we advised the host that we would not be staying the rest of the week, and why, and found a new location.
We can see how this place could be nice in summer, but outside of warm days and nights, we do not recommend this place, unless the owner upgrades the heating situation, and has transparency on the add about the features and expectations.
