Hôtel Massé

I loved the overall vibe of the hotel. It's beautifully styled and the hotel staff were excellent. We also really enjoyed a cocktail in the hotel bar. We didn't get chance to eat in the restaurant but it looked lovely and we'd definitely try it if we were to stay again. The location is good and the rooms were stylish and clean.

The room was pretty small and in hindsight, I wish we'd have booked a room with a bath but that was our mistake.

Everything was impeccable

Beautiful decor, quality renovation with tiny beautiful details and a very clean and relaxing space. Staff are excellent too.

Some minor issues around shower heads being repaired and not a great use of inbuilt space in already small alcoves (e.g., couldn’t hang a coat, they could just add hooks to the wall).

Massé is beautifully curated, the furnishings, the textures, the amenities but the service really lets them down.

We booked their highest deluxe room and they gave us a different room to what was advertised that looked nothing like the photos listed or what was in our booking confirmation. They later told us they had two deluxe rooms and we needed to select that other one (one room wasn’t even photographed and had a different bathroom and no bathtub). We came to an agreement with management but it ruined the end of our holiday. Service can also be slow and forgetful, you’ll have to ask for things twice or be used to inconsistency. Staff always seem a little flustered even with such a small amount of rooms.
