The food we ordered from room service was lovely and staff were police and helpful at the property itself.
The property itself was lovely, but the condition and upkeep are severely lacking. Our suite had substantial damage to carpets which was indicative of a carpet moth infestation, confirmed by my seeing moths on the walls, in the wardrobe and on the curtains. The end result was that the room felt shabby and I spent the stay concerned that we would take the infestation home with us. I raised my concerns with the hotel after my stay and they dismissed me entirely by saying simply that there was no damage and no moths- which is absolutely not the response I would expect form a luxury hotel. We will not be staying there again.
