Gr at location as our second stop on the Cumbria way. Beautiful, peaceful location.
It was a very hot day and consequently our room at the top of the hotel was as stiflingly hot all night. Also, only one veggie option. Would be great to have at least one more. Perhaps a tomato pasta or veggie chilli?

Location was great for our hillwalking trip and the food was good
My daughter's room was poor and not able to be changed. The window blind was broken, the carpet damp, the shower sprayed everywhere and no bedside lamp. This wa sbrought to the staff's attention but nothing really done to sort this out. I did get a bill reduction when I asked but it should have been offered.

Beautiful location, lovely looking building friendly staff.
paper thin walls also we could hear people adjacent to our room talking and snoring.
