Villa Castagna is beautifully located and we had fabulous views to the mountains and lots of birds and birdsong. The bed was large and comfortable and the bathroom with two hand basins and a great shower, was excellent. We had sole use of two balconies which gave us lots of space and options for where to sit. Breakfast was very good and varied. Our hosts were lovely, very responsive and helpful. Access to the centre of Lucerne was also easy via the 21 bus.
A very small quibble, but the bread at breakfast could have been fresher.

Very quiet, very charming neighborhood.
no breakfast provided, but I had been told there would be a continental breakfast. Also, I arrived exactly on the scheduled time, but the gentleman who met me greeted me with "I've been waiting for you"

Gute Kommunikation, herzlicher persönlicher Empfang von Silvia und Francesco mit Einführung in die Unterkunft und die schöne Umgebung. Dank Wetterglück konnten wir die grosse Terrasse geniessen, wo uns am Morgen ein liebevoll vorbereitetes, grosszügiges Frühstück erwartete. Das Bett ist sehr bequem und kombiniert mit der extremen ländlichen Ruhe konnten wir wunderbar schlafen. Ein sehr sympathisches Ambiente zu dem wir gerne zurückkehren möchten.
