Wir haben einen herrlich entspannten Urlaub verbracht. Die Wohnung war wunderschön und gut ausgestattet. Die Lage erhöht mitten in der Natur mit schöner Aussicht. Es ist sehr ruhig und unsere Vermieter unglaublich freundlich und herzlich. Sie haben uns auch gute Tipps gegeben. Die Toscana kann man von hier aus gut erobern.
Wir haben auch die Gesellschaft von Hugo und Tobi ( Hund und Kater) sehr genossen und würden Christins und Lucca jederzeit wieder besuchen.

Zu dritt haben wir für eine Woche die fantastische Gastfreundschaft von Cristina und Lucca (+Hund Hugo!!!) erfahren. Ihr Anwesen liegt auf einem Berg mit direktem Panorama-view auf Borgo San Lorenzo und die umliegenden Berge. Die Wohnung ist ein Traum und super ausgestattet! Die liebenswerten Gastgeber stehen mit Rat und Tat und Tipps für Ausflüge sehr gern zur Verfügung, wofür wir äußerst dankbar waren.
Mit dem Auto sind wir immer in das 20 minütig entfernte Fiesole-Caldine gefahren um dort zwei Stationen mit der Regionalbahn in das Stadtzentrum (Altstadt) von Florenz zu gelangen. Es ist die beste Art, um so ausgiebig die gesamten Sehenswürdigkeiten von Florenz zu erkunden.
Wir würden immer wieder gerne zu Cristina und Lucca und Ihrem Anwesen I Castagni Dei Medici reisen und empfehlen es wärmstens für alle andern Personen.

Christina et Luca nous ont reçus du 14 au 21 Aout 2018 dans leur belle demeure Toscane de Borgo San Lorenzo à 40 minutes de Florence.
Nous avons immédiatement apprécié leur gentillesse,leur convivialité et leur discrétion.Ce sont des hôtes merveilleux.
Leur gîte est confortable,bien aménagé,raffiné .Leur chien Ugo,un golden retriever adorable,ajoute une note de gaieté et de tendresse à l'ambiance des lieux.
Lorsque nous sommes arrivés le premier jour, nous avons été un peu surpris par l'isolement et le trajet nous a paru long,mais par la suite,nous nous y sommes habitués,et Christina nous a conseillé pour la suite une route plus praticable . (D'ailleurs Christina est toujours de bon conseil...pour les restaurants par exemple!)
Nous voulions connaitre un peu la région du Mugello, et visiter Bologna,Pistoia,Pisa et Lucca,Siena,San Gimignano et bien sûr Firenze ....et puis les enfants avaient bien l'intention de dépenser leurs économies à l"Outlet"!
Nous avons pu faire tout cela,en rayonnant chaque jour à partir des "Castagni dei Medici".
Et quel bonheur le soir de rentrer au calme,et de savourer la fraîcheur,le chant des grillons et le scintillement de la nuit étoilée,bien installés sur la terrasse,loin de l'agitation de la ville.C"est magique.
La Toscane est belle,mais elle ne s'arrête pas à Florence, il faut savoir sortir un peu des sentiers balisés.
C'est pour cette raison que nous avons choisi la propriété de Christina et Luca.

Hosts Cristina and Luca are superb in offering you a place that oozes charm, the Appenines, cleanliness and comfort. It is the perfect place to come back to after a day in tourist Italy. From there, we took the train to Lucca, Pisa, Firenze and we drove 2.5 hours to Venice (the high speed train would have cost too much). We were also able to explore the local areas, taste local fare (cheaper than in the main tourist areas) and have a wonderful nights’ sleep in our apartment. Cristina and Lucca invited us to share the view of the Bloodmoon with them over a glass of wine. From them, we learnt more about Italy and its people. I cannot fault anything about our stay or holiday in Italy or at I Castagni Dei Medici. I would definitely recommend I Castagni Dei Medici as a place to stay.
