About this house rental
Ideally located on iconic Alii Drive directly where the world famous Iron Man takes place annually.
A number of palm trees and local landscaping on the front and side of the property add to the tropical appeal.
Nearby are many of Kona's enviable attractions including its famed beaches, surf spots, golf, restaurants and much more.
Almost midway between Kailua-Kona and Keauhou, this two story (plus roof deck), three bedroom, three bath home has the added benefit of two separate living areas. The home is one unit but each level can be separated, if desired, by a door.
Each level is equipped with a stocked kitchen, a washer and dryer and an outdoor space.
From the second level and open roof deck, views of the nearby ocean can be enjoyed, while the roof deck with seating and BBQ provides a great venue for relaxed viewing of Kona's famous sunsets and hinterland that includes Mt Hualalai.
Right out the front door of the lower level, there is a covered seating area, complete with a hammock for relaxing in the sunshine.
Please keep in mind that the famed Alii Drive offers beautiful views and is the "Main Street " of the town, with that does come vehicular noise.
There is a two car carport as well as a paved parking area for two more cars at the front of the home.
After a day at the beach, there is an outdoor shower area to rinse off the sand.
Please note that the water (showers, sinks, etc.) only gets pleasantly warm, not hot and takes a bit of time to get there. There may be ants/bugs on the property, we maintain with pest control regularly, but this is very common for a tropical environment to still experience some bugs around.
It is our policy to only host guests that have established profiles with reviews, this just helps us make sure that our house is a great fit for our guests. One of the ac units is not working.

We had a great time. The location was great and it was nice to have access to some beach gear. Super convenient on both fronts. The setup was awesome

The house was great for our large single family. Well appointed and stocked with necessities. The location was great as well. Close to beaches stores grocers and restaurants. Our only negative was the strict check in time. The host was not negotiable for an earlier check in. We have not experienced that in the past with other family focused rentals. Overall would recommend this home to other families traveling to Kona but would advise them to plan arrival accordingly to the check in time.

This house was large enough to accommodate our family vacation. The a/c worked well throughout the house and the beds were comfortable. The host answered quickly when we had questions. The patio was great for morning coffee and yoga, and we watched the lunar eclipse up there. All of the gear you could need for the beach is available, and the outdoor shower is great for rinsing off. A couple of things to note if you are planning a trip - the large living room and couch pictured is upstairs, so if you have people coming that struggle with stairs, you’d have to do everything downstairs with the small couch and bar seating area. There is no table downstairs (despite it being in photos). The upstairs kitchen has a lot of dishes, cookware, and appliances, and we found everything we needed.

This is a must stay on historic Alii Drive!Well maintained inside and out, refreshingly clean, updated and well stocked with everything you might need. It even has boogie boards, snorkel gear and beach chairs with an outdoor shower to wash off the sand after a fun day at the beach. Each morning greeted us with a beautiful view of the ocean. We enjoyed breakfast on the lower patio and evenings on the upper. It is a home away from home. We could not help think about bringing our extended families here. Three couples and a few of the grandchildren, it would accommodate all of us comfortably, with it’s two kitchens, two sets of washer and dryers, three bedroom and baths, large couch upstairs and the hide-a-bed couch downstairs! The little sandy beach across the street is tucked away and not very crowded. Great for kicking back and relaxing, it is especially perfect for families with young children. The cove is protected from the waves, at least when we were there, and ideal for worry free wading. Take note as you arrive onto the beach, head north, walk over some lava rocks, it is easy, and find the little path through the trees that lead to the sandy beach.Zane and Lexi were so helpful and you can see the pride they take in seeing that you have fun and caring that every detail is met maintaining their place.
