Heerlijke rustige omgeving, we hebben heerlijk gewandeld door de bossen. Het huisje is comfortabel en degelijk ingericht. De verwarming stond ook al aan dat wij arriveerden.
De eigenaar verzoekt om de koelkast uit te doen bij het uitchecken. Echter bij onze aankomst was de koelkast uit en de deur van de koelkast dicht. Dit gaf een zeer onaangename geur en diende dus eerst door ons schoongemaakt te worden. Een tip voor de receptie, als gasten buiten de openingstijden de sleutel uit het kluisje halen is het handig als er een foto van de locatie meegestuurd wordt met de aankomst informatie.

The location is fantastic, the view from the front terrace is just amazing. Everything was clean on arrival and the owners really did well on the furniture and everything. We could easily start a small hike from the house itself since it is on the Rothaarsteig path. Our stay was really good.
Wifi sometimes did not let any internet through, although I have found this is to be an issue with a lot of vacation homes. This may also be due to the wifi being part of the Freifunk free wifi.
For us it would have helped if the hosts could speak English, but we made it work and they were very friendly.
