Altenberg Skilift is just steps away and Sommerrodelbahn Altenberg is within an easy 8-minute walk, so leave your car at the property, which offers onsite parking. If you're looking to expand your horizons and see other nearby locales, you can catch a train at Kurort Altenberg (Erzgebirge) Station, a short 5-minute walk away.

I wish we had more than one night at Landhaus Buttner. The house was very clean and had tons of room and ammenities. The kids loved the bunk room and we all enjoyed the dining and tv room. Also, the deck and view were a great bonus. Very conveniently locaed, as you can walk everywhere. Thomas the owner was great to work with and he was extremely helpful in providing fun things to do. If you go in the summer, don't miss the Summer Toboggan run.
