Villa Blue Sapphire definitely has a beautiful outdoor area, which is a lovely base for a holiday in Rhodes.
It’s a truly gorgeous and private/spacious garden with beautiful trees and flowers, as well as a fantastic view and sunset.
The huge pool was in very good condition, with seven sturdy sun loungers on wheels that worked perfectly. And you can find sun all day long on the terrace.
The villa is located right by a charming little sandy beach with wonderfully clear water and almost no stones.
The sea water was noticeably warmer than the pool when we were there in mid-October.
A short walk along the beach you’ll find some restaurants, and from there you can continue into the town with plenty of restaurants, bars, and small supermarkets, etc.
It was positive that the rental team responded quickly to our messages.
Villa Blue Sapphire is a bit worn.
The bathrooms in particular could use an upgrade: among other things, there was very little light, making it almost impossible to shave or apply makeup. In addition, there were no cabinets, drawers, or counter space for toiletries.
The pool water is quite cold if you visit in the off-season, so you can’t stay in for long before getting chilly.
Since there’s no one to welcome guests and introduce the villa, we would recommend at least providing a welcome/information booklet about the villa and how to use it. This would also show that the owners care about the place – otherwise, renters unfortunately tend to be less careful with things.
That’s our theory, at least, since several small items/furniture pieces were broken, and other things were difficult to use (for example, doors and windows were hard to close, and the dishwasher buttons were so worn that you couldn’t see what to press – we spent quite some time figuring out how to start it properly).
Due to the steep sections on the beach access and the road and many stairs, it’s not ideal for people with walking difficulties, strollers etc.

We were 6 adults visiting for a wedding in Lindos. Perfect villa for an extended family or couples. Pool is wonderful. View out the back is beautiful. Easy to find and walking distance from everything in pefkos. Highly recommend this villa. 4 double bedrooms suit couples perfectly. 1 room with 2 single beds perfect for kids. 1 bedroom with 2 single beds has no door at top of stairs just fyi and a bit warm if in hot weather. Would definitely book again!

Some of doors didn't shut properly you had to lock them to shut them, also one of the pool lights was broken which we had to pay for in cash even though we noticed it on second day and were told we must have done it playing football which we had not even done that we were just calm and playing with small grandchildren.. also to get to town there is a very steep hill to walk up which we were un aware of.
