About this house rental
The Bay House! Step back in time when beach houses were magnificent structures! This well-decorated house has beautiful pine floors and Mexican tile that artistically integrates styles in a refreshing way and sets the tone for a real getaway from the modern world. The home is well thought out with a 3rd-floor crow’s nest and bonus space on the ground floor that doubles as a hangout or extra bedroom. There are thoughtful touches everywhere, including a wet bar, a kitchen set up to entertain, and the always relaxing view and sounds of your private bay beach. There is ample outdoor space and multiple hangout areas for your group. It comes with outdoor games and is a short walk to the gulf beach, as well.
Gulf Beach access is 0.4 miles from the end of your driveway!
This property also includes an optional golf cart for an additional fee of $100/day (must rent for the entire stay). You will receive additional information regarding this option after you book your reservation.
As with all of our Dauphin Island Beach Rentals, all linens and towels are provided, WIFI, along with a fully-outfitted kitchen. There will be a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags; please plan on bringing more for day 2 ;). A great beach vacation is waiting on you!
House Rules:
1. Minimum Age for the Primary Renter is 25, and Primary Renter must be present for the entire stay.
2. Maximum Occupancy numbers include Children 3 and over and cannot be exceeded at any time.
3. All of our Homes are Non-Smoking.
4. A signed Rental Agreement is Required, which contains additional Rules and Guidance.
5. This property does not allow weddings or parties.
6. Check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out time is 10 am.
7. Start dishes and linens before departure.
8. Take the trash can to the street on Tuesday night and Friday night.
9. . This home is pet-friendly with prior permission. 2-Pet Maximum Limit - Dogs Only. $200 per dog per stay pet fee plus tax.

Such a pretty house, lovely setting, and bedroom/bath set up was perfect as we were 3 single people and a couple. Each of us having a bathroom with our room was such a treat. My only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was on cleanliness. While the kitchen was well stocked, it is in desperate need a good spring cleaning. The cabinets were a bit dirty, disorganized and made no sense, and much of what we pulled out to use we felt the need to wash first. An easy fix that can be done in an hour. We also had a little visitor that shared our bagels and a potato. Not anyone's fault, it is just nature. Just letting you know. But again, absolutely fantastic time and so enjoyed your house on the water!!!

Beautiful house with bathrooms in every bedroom. The open layout of the kitchen and living room was perfect for 6 people. Loved having the bay in our backyard. The West end beach was just a short drive. The back porch was a nice addition to our roomy house.

Great location & facilities. The 2 kayaks were a hit. Check-in was easy & the kitchen/dining/living room (all one room) was great!

Unkept and overground. Nicely decorated and fully furnished with the latest. Would stay again IF, everything was operable. Upstairs TV could only be watch if subscription was made. Bathrooms had dirty towels in them with mold and mildew in shower stalls. Bedding is very comfortable with plenty pillows. One toilet had wiggled its way from the floor mount, so it caused a problem. It rains the whole time of our stay, so if the grounds outside was kept, it would have been nice to went outside and enjoyed that area underneath and around the Bayhouse. Good area of the island to enjoy peace and quiet with little to no tourists.
