About this house rental
Our 4bd/2ba home is the perfect space for big families, work groups. It is in a very quiet neighborhood, and we ask that you are respectful of our neighbors by being super quiet in the daytime, as well as at night. No parties, please! Almost half an acre of sunny lawns, forest, and a seasonal creek at the end of a quiet road will greet you. The smell of plum blossom, jasmine, and bay trees will calm you, and you will have complete privacy as no cars will drive by. This place inspires peaceful solitude and is an excellent retreat for serene gatherings. (Please note that our house includes a small entirely separate In-law unit downstairs under the living room, which is not included in the Vrbo listing.)
As you drive up our driveway to the end of the road, our home is on your right side. You walk up 15 stairs to our long outdoor deck, which allows you to bring the outside in. VEER RIGHT AT THE MAILBOXES TO GO UP OUR DRIVEWAY. PLEASE DO NOT GO UP OUR NEIGHBORS DRIVEWAY TO THE LEFT! THERE IS NO STREET PARKING ON EUCALYPTUS WAY.
There is a little separate building at the end of the driveway. It is just for our storage use.
As you enter the house, you will see a stone fireplace right in front of you, the great room has old natural pine paneled walls, an open floor plan, and mostly hardwood and tile floors. There are 2 comfortable coaches and a sofa close to the fireplace, a working desk and a chair. The dining area and newly renovated kitchen are on the left side of the fireplace.
Walk along the kitchen and you will find 4 bedrooms: one spacious bedroom with a brand new queen-sized bed (2023), one sweet trundle bed in the middle bedroom, a brand new queen-sized sofa bed in a separate room, which has bright light almost all day long, and one king-sized bed in the spacious master bedroom. Our 2 newly renovated full baths (2023) and 4 bedrooms are all on one level for easy accessibility (note there are 15 stairs from the parking area up to our front door). There is a very quiet in-law unit below the living room. Please keep the area in the living room, dining room, and kitchen quiet between 10 PM and 8 AM as a courtesy to the unit below.
There are two parking space at the top of the driveway. No street parking as all the spaces there is private property.
This is a quiet area with no streetlights, so star gazing is excellent. Wildlife abounds and sightings of deer, raccoon, coyotes, and raptors are common.
Stroll in our backyard, discover the path to our sacred temple and access the incredible open space adjoining the Golden Gate National Recreation Area.

Very cute and cozy home! Its location was perfect. Super close to Muir Woods, Mt. Tamalpias, and Stinson Beach. It was a great place to really disconnect from the real world for a bit. I would definitely stay here again

The home is quaint and tucked away quietly in the redwoods with a warm, cozy fireplace that we enjoyed. The rooms are a bit dated, but the kitchen is open and spacious which was important to our chefs in the family:) There happened to be a troublesome ant situation while we were there that was unable to be addressed during our stay, however, we were told this would be tended to after our departure, which I'm sure they will/did...just would be sure to request there is ant spray stored at the house in the event it is needed...
