Eravamo un gruppo di 5 amici, e siamo tutti rimasti a bocca aperta.
Una sola parola: ARMONIA
Si respirava calma, felicità, spensieratezza... La proprietaria è di una dolcezza infinita, ed anche gli altri ragazzi che abbiamo conosciuto sono stati subito molto accoglienti...il sorriso in questo posto è assicurato!
La presenza degli animali è stata la ciliegina sulla torta: cani e gatti venivano a salutarci ogni volta che tornavamo a casa, senza essere mai invadenti!
I cani non entrano in casa se non invitati: ti aspettano scodinzolando sull'uscio della porta!
Passando all'alloggio: perfetto. Siamo stati accolti con il camino acceso, dei biscottini e tutto era estremamente pulito ed ordinato.
Le camere? Bellissime. I bagni? Pulitissimi.
Anche il salottino e la cucina: accoglienti, sono stati sfondo di risate in questo weekend indimenticabile.
Starci così poco: torneremo sicuramente!

Quiet location (but plan enough time to find it, which is not straightforward the first time). Good mosquito nets in the sleeping rooms, not in the dining room however. There is a spacious terrace with a roof against rain and sunshine outside. We could park our high van under a roof in the shade, which came in handy. The owner is a solid hard working man, who built the property himself from scratch over the decades - respect! His son is motivated and was communicative to us - friendly and doing his best to break the ice when we arrived - using his few words of English. I truly appreciated that.
We spent two nights on this address with our three kids. Unlike the pretended bilinguality (Italian/English), both the owners don't speak anything but Italian. The son does speak a very small mouth of English though. Although the reservation had been confirmed by booking, he owners were totally surprised when we stood at their door- they hadn't registered the booking.
The small appartment is partially under ground level, which makes the living room, bathrooms and kitchen blind without windows nor daylight.
I was very puzzled by the fact that the hospita entered 'our' appartment during our stay, to take out of the fridge remainders of our paid breakfast, including the cutlery. The kitchen was without cutlery, so I went up to ask for it and was given what we needed. When we came back in the evening after some sightseeing, this cutlery had again DISAPPEARED. So again, I had to go up and beg for cutlery.
Our daughter is very fond of horses - she knows to ride horses pretty well. So - the horses were the very reason to book this address. The owners didn't take any clear initiative nor did they seem keen to offer the kids a couple of minutes on one of their horses.
After the second night, at 10 am, when we were finishing our breakfast, the hospita came to me to tell me (in Italian) that soon workers would come in the flat to carry out some renovation works, as to make clear to me: 'please hurry up and go now". I thus left with my family in a hurry, leaving the unwashed dishes - something I would néver ever do normally.
