I had stayed here before, and there were a few problems before, but since I came back, a couple of those had been fixed and it just seemed better all the way around.
Nothing per se about the property because I like the location and everything about it especially sitting on a porch that is screened in. That is a very nice quality.

This is our second time staying! We love the location and how relaxing the home is. It's nuce being able to bring our fur babies along with us and having a fenced yard for them . The fire pit out back was a noce addition to the fall evenings and the ability to cook inside or outside is nice as well.
We didn't get any dish towels or oven mits for the kitchen, so I had to go purchase these things to cook and do dishes. We were given tp but not enough for 4 people staying 5 nights and 1 roll of paper towels, I purchased more of these things as well. This was not an issue on our first trip, but we will come prepared next time just to be safe. The floors and bathrooms were clean, but the house is in desperate need of some deep cleaning. Every window and lamp has dust and cobwebs in/on them. The living room fan doesn't work, I tried to turn it on, and it made a cracking pop sound, so we turned it off and made sure not to use it for this trip. I let Vacasa know but never heard back about it. A couple of the drawer nobs were broken, and I caught my dress on one, causing it to rip a bit, we just wrapped a bag around them to avoid this happening again, but they needs fixed. It was also a bummer that we couldn't get the fire in the home to start on the cold mornings.All smaller things, except for the fan that could potentially be a fire hazard, we still love the place and will come back again.

The front deck was screened in, nice to sit and enjoy a beverage. Both bedrooms are a nice size and have queen size beds. The loft upstairs was a surprise with a great sofa and large screen TV. Very private and quietly tucked into a residential neighborhood. The water pressure was great! This is a quaint home and perfect for a small family or two couples for a weekend get-a-way.
The driveway is not well marked, especially in the dark. Reflective markers would be helpful. There is no dishwasher and many of the pots and pans were quite greasy. Unfortunately, we spent extra time scrubbing those items we used to remove the prior usage ick. The one item which gave us concern is that the home smells like mildew. The a/c blew air that smelled like mold. The smell never dissipated even with the a/c on constantly for almost four days.
