Top location, a nice place, supportive host - all we need.
A little bit noisy because of the next door food place but not a problem when the windows are closed. I was prepared with earplugs.
The drain in the bathroom was a bit clogged, but we didn't bother the host.

The location is perfect, you can walk to most sights in Nice easily. Train station is right nearby, but walking to the beach wasn’t too long either. Lots of restaurants and supermarkets nearby as well.
The place wasn’t the cleanest. There is mold all over, and you can smell it. We tried to air out the place as much as possible, but it is just very humid (and not because of the outside humidity). Towels wouldn’t dry and the bedding felt damp as well. There were lots of fruitflies as well and we did not have any food in the room.
