This is a very nice property in a nice area and very clean. However, the listing is not accurate in that the hot tub was not listed and yet when we got there--a hot tub is in the backyard. Because it was not mentioned in the listing, and had no instructions on how to use it--we did not touch it. It would have been fun to use it had we had the permission/instructions. Picture in the listing shows cushions on the outdoor furniture which were not on the furniture when we arrived. Unfortunately, Owner leaves NO instructions for ANYTHING. We had no idea how to operate the TV, appliances, bbq, a/c, fire pit or spa. There are a few Xmas decorations which were left up which seemed odd. The feeling we got was that the owner moved their clothes out and let us stay with no direction as to how to use anything. There was a VERY offputting smell in the garage--not sure what that was about. Additionally, there is some sort of alarm going off in the cabinet in the garage but the cabinet is locked. The a/c in the upstairs is not powerful enough to cool off the room w/o leaving the unit on all night. Mostly, we had to figure everything out as we went through our stay and, by the time it was time to leave, we finally figured out how everything worked. Pillows were like laying on bags of sand--they were not comfortable at all. However the beds, linens and towels were nice. Having stayed in lots of VRBOs, where you have a check-in sheet with all the information you would need--Owner left zero information. I had to email the owner to get the wi-fi password as nothing was provided upon check-in except how to enter the front door. There are also NO instructions left for the renter as to what is expected upon departure. We left the owner a detailed email with regard to this information on the first day we were there and he replied he would get back to us shortly. Owner never responded. Again, a very nice home in a very nice neighborhood but you have to figure things out for yourself. It was frustrating. I hope the host provides more detailed information for future guests.
