About this apartment rental
A cozy cabin on a stocked freshwater lake that is part of the Gulf Coast Aquifer system. Unique, beautiful, and private. Fully furnished kitchen, full bath, full sized fridge, queen sized bed, and all the amenities to boot. The back patio overlooks the water and incorporates living cypress trees into the construction. Comes with private parking, private dock, an outdoor gas grill, and fast Wi-Fi. Kayaks available.
While we are pet-friendly, we do charge a $40 fee per stay for the option of allowing your pets to stay with us. VRBO does not allow the incorporation of pet fees directly into the booking charges. If you are traveling with pets, you will be charged an additional $40 per stay to compensate for the additional time, money and effort required to maintain our facility in order to be pet-friendly. We take great care to clean meticulously to accommodate travelers who are not pet-friendly. Thank you!

Everything was nice except the sheets on the bed were clean but stained. Other than that it is a cute cozy place with fantastic views from the back porch.

It was an amazing time. 1st time to Kemah the cabin was easy to find and absolutely perfect home away from home had all the comforts of home. Will for sure be booking again on next trip to Kemah 5 stars across the board all day

I gave a 3 star for cleanliness since we had a cockroach running around on us in the bed in the middle of the night. It was killed and disposed of. Not a good night for sleep!
The bed was very comfortable, but I do not like sleeping with someone. The extra "beds" were fake leather fold out chairs that were in the kitchen. Ridiculous. And this is basically a one room space, so no door on the bedroom and no privacy.
There is a ginormous TV in the kitchen over the washer and dryer, so I'm not sure who is going to relax at the kitchen table to watch. The TV in the bedroom was very small and practically mounted on the ceiling, so there was no way I could utilize the closed captions, which I require.
The main problem with this stay was there was no internet. I could pick up about 20 signals from the neighbors, but not one for this house. I called and left two messages for the only phone number I could find, since there was no host info posted in the house (most all hosts have this courtesy). My email account is on my tablet, which I could not use to VRBO message the host, since I didn't have email without internet.
So, being forced to sleep tandem when that is not my preference, no internet, no communication from host, meh weekend. I am mainly leaving this review to save someone else from thinking this tiny one room cabin "sleeps four."
