This property was just as described and great communication with the owners. Everything went very smoothly which made our stay perfect. The location of this venue is perfect, whilst no allocated parking we always found a spot directly opposite or nearby. So close to the East Strand and only a 3 min drive from the West Strand, the property was beautifully presented, all amenities we wanted for cooking or there's a great chip shop 2 minute walk away. Things you might need to know, the property is split level in the sense when you enter you have to walk up to the first floor to enter, then once in you have the kitchen and bathroom and walk downstairs to the bedroom and main living area, there are only a few stairs really but if you have younger kids or have mobility problems it's worth noting. It came equipped shower, microwave, fridge freezer, pots, pans, electric cooker with rings and oven, cleaning products, brush, bin bags etc. Towels are also provided as is bed linen for the sofabed. There's a decked balcony off the side of the living area which contains a table, 3 chairs, sofabed and TV. All in all it's a hidden gem, worth the price and will definitely stay there again.

One bed apartment with sofa bed on first floor of converted house. Sizable kitchen and bathroom. Central location with road parking. Found it easy to get a space outside or if not car park not far away for 30p an hour.

The property was very basic, given that we choose rentals rather than hotels so we can self cater the kitchen was not easy. The oven element didn't work, basic kitchen equipment - grater/wooden spoons - non existent, no kitchen sink hot water. The 'shared balcony' was very dirty and as it seemed to be the route to the fire exit (we couldn't see where this was, the balcony was too slippery to go and have a look) potentially dangerous. The request for payment was odd - the flat seems to have several different names; the original booking said we didn't have to pay until the day were due to book in but the payment was asked for a week before; this wasn't a problem as we had planned to pay before we set off on our overall journey but as the name of the flat was different on the payment demand from the original booking I did check the address first to make sure it wasn't a scam.
